It gave the government the power to suspend civil rights and emergency powers to have anyone suspected of working against the government interned

How was the Enabling Act passed?
Since the law changed the constitution and required 2/3 of the Reichstag to vote for it, Hitler got the support of the CCP and used the SS, SA and the LftPoftPatS to make sure his opponents could not vote against it
What did the Enabling Act do?
It gave the Nazis absolute power to make laws without the Reichstag’s consent for 4 years.
