What is HIT Training? (Bucheit et al,.2013)
A
- It is defined as either repeated short bouts of high but not maximal intensity exercise, or short <10 seconds, or long 20-30 seconds with recovery periods

A
- Reduce appetite following exercise
- Improved metabolic/cardiovascular fitness
- Improved aerobic Fitness
- Improved self-efficacy
- Elicits greater lipid oxidation rates in the 24 hour period following exercise in comparison to moderate exercise.

CONs of HIT training?
A
- Reduced fat oxidation while exercising
- Decreased likelihood of engaging in exercise
- Reduced likelihood of completing exercise session due to motivation.
