  • It is defined as either repeated short bouts of high but not maximal intensity exercise, or short <10 seconds, or long 20-30 seconds with recovery periods

A
  • Reduce appetite following exercise
  • Improved metabolic/cardiovascular fitness
  • Improved aerobic Fitness
  • Improved self-efficacy
  • Elicits greater lipid oxidation rates in the 24 hour period following exercise in comparison to moderate exercise.
