Virtues and Vices
A virtue is a good or desirable charecter trait while a vice is a bad or undesriable charecter trait. Aristole’s idea is to always be in the middle of things which is seen as normal.
Medici Family’s influnce
This family, wealthy from banking, was able to dominate Renissance Florence with their power making Florence a key banking center in Europe. This family was also a big patron of the arts, supproting many atrtists and intellectuals. Keeping a strong army and bulding many palaces.

A person who whorships many Gods or Godesses or the Earth or Nature.

Not connected with religous or spirutral matters
Innovation
is the process of transforming an invention into a product that constumers will buy to help life and society. (Developing an invention)
Renissance Plant
Changes in Europe, specifically in the classical and medival times, led to the Renissance when then the development of italian city- states and travle + commerce is what helped grow out the art, humanis, scince, math, and engeniring in the Renissance.
Growth of trade and commerce
The great growth of trade and commerce betwhen Europe and Aisa developed prospuros cites and classes of people with enough wealth to support education and the arts.
Humanism
Here it was belived in the worth and potential of all indivudals and balanced religous faith with beleif in the power of the mind.
Influnce of italian city-states
The developing wealth and powern of the indivudal italian-city states helped to promote and spread Renissance ideas while wealthy leaders or indivudals paid for new works of art + new centers of learning.
Floreance, italy
Was the leading culural center of the Renissance. Many Renissance figures were born or grew up there. Floreance used their wealth to support the arts and education + became a bussiness center due to the location on the Arno River.
Niccolò Machiavelli
A Florerentine (Florence) statesman and historan, was closely involved in the cities politics. He served as a dimplomat during the Medicis exile and wrote a book called ‘The Prince’ which was about politics and goverments based on his exprinces. (Leaders should be feared not loved)
Leonardo de Vinci
A famous polymath, one who wouldnt accepct things without soild proof which led to his many contributations and inventions in all types of fields such as war,math, science, bridges, helicoptors, and even a swimming suit.
Galileo Galilei
Was a guy who conducted groundbreaking exprements in physics, specifically in gravity. He bulit the first telescope and proved that objects with diffrent weights fall at the same rate under gravity.
Indlugence
Someone eating too many things OR seen as a pardon for a sin, buying this would buy your way into Heaven which God had no right in was the thought.
Reformation
A Religous movement to reform the Catholic Church and resulting in the formation of Protestant churches. (In the thought that faith alone is the justificuation for sinners)
