How was bloodletting of a horse done?
Placed horse in a stall for a week (fasted), occlude the vein, and pierce it with a tool until the “bad blood” is gone. Then rest for 1 week after.
What is the “Code of Hammurabi”?
Stone tablets which gave instructions for payments to practitioners, payable if the animal got well. If animal died, the practitioner had to pay the owner.
