1:Prime minister supported them. Encouraged newspapers to publish articles about women and also worked with Emmeline pankhurst. This helped others to see that women were worthy to vote as he gained influence
2:The laws being passed, Representation of the peoples act was passed in 1918 which gave women who owned property to vote from the age of 21 and all women to vote from the age of 30. Helped women vote
3:helped in war, they worked as factory workers and bus drivers which helped people see they are as capable as men
