LARGE, round knob on the side of the microscope used for FOCUSING the specimen
Coarse Adjustment Knob
Controls the light going through the aperture
Iris Diaphragm
Used to reflect the light to specimen/source of light
Mirror/Light Source
Used to increase the magnification of the specimen
Objective Lenses
The hole in the stage through which the base (transmitted) light reaches the stage
Aperture
Used to collect and focus the light from the illuminator on to the stage
