Is any natural person who offers or renders personal service to watch or guard
residential or business premises or both, government and/or their premises for hire and
compensation.
Security Guard
Is charged with directing the work and observing the behavioral performance of the
guard under his unit.
Security Supervisor
Security force maintained and operated by any private
company/corporation utilizing any of its employees to watch secure and guard its
establishment.
Company Guard Force

Government Guard Forces
A security guard shall watch and secure the property of the person,
firm or establishment with whom he or his agency has a contract for security services
Territorial power
A security guard or private detective is not a police officer and
is not, therefore, clothed with police authority.
Arrest by security guard
Any security guard may, incident to the arrest, search the
person so arrested in the presence of at least two (2) witnesses. He may search employees
of the firm or establishment with which he or his agency has a contract, when such search is
required by the very nature of the business of the person, firm or establishmen
