Centre Pompidou: Paris, gallery & retail, all-exposed construction, steel structure from which
floors are suspended, external colour-coded services creating a unique aesthetic, external
escalators, appears unfinished, scaffolding - some is purely aesthetic.
Lloyds of London: London, bank, services such as staircases, lifts, electrical power conduits
and water pipes on the outside, leaving an uncluttered space inside. Twelve glass lifts.
