Q

Describe the connective tissue and give an example of what it does.

A

Cells held together by a liquid/solid/gel matrix- structurally support and insulate other tissues and organs. Ex it connects, bone, cartilage, fat, blood

Q

Describe the epithelial tissue and give an example of what it does.

A

Sheets of closely packed, flat sheets of cells lining organs
Prevents dehydration and reduces friction
Ex. skin, digestive tract, lining of blood vessels ex. it covers
