Assessment:
A
Dysphagia, N/V, Dyspnea, Heartburn
Feeling of fullness, Odynophagia, Belching, Flatulence

Intervention
A
- Eat small frequent meals
- Eat slowly and chew the food properly
- Eat foods high in protein and have a bland diet in initial days
- Avoid eating 3 hours before bedtime.
- Avoid eating chocolates, alcohol, fatty foods and tea.
6.Avoid evening snacks - Stay in upright position before and after eating
- Advise to reduce body weigh if obese
- Promote lifestyle changes (6-8 inch blocks, avoid smoking, tight clothes, straining at stool etc)
- Surgery: Nissen Fundoplication

H-h2 blockers
A- antiemetic
A-antacids
P-proton pump inhibitors
*avoid anticholinergics, xanthine derivatives, ganglionic stimulants, calcium channel blockers and diazepam
