A
Lymph node biopsy/fluid cytology . HHV 8 would be positive with LANA staining.
Serum HHV8 PCR should be raised and would be predictive if high.

Epidemiology of HHV8?
A
HHV-8 infection is very common in sub-Saharan Africa with seropositivity rates of over 50 percent; moderately prevalent in Mediterranean countries (20 to 30 percent); and much less common (well under 10 percent) in most of Europe, Asia, and the United States
