A

Supportive
- Two monoclonal Abs recommended by WHO
○ REGN-EB3 (inmazeb)
○ mAb114 (Ebanga)
Both recommended for treatment of those infected with Zaire strain and for neonates born to mum pos for zaire Ebola

Vaccines against Ebola?

A

rVSV-ZEBOV vaccine (ERVEBO®)
○ Protects against Zaire strain
○ Used in adults >18
○ Single IM injection Can be used in outbreaks as immunity develops quickly
○ Antibody response lasts at least 3 years
○ Boosters should be given to contacts whose first vaccine was >6 months ago
- 2 dose vaccine
Ad26.ZEBOV-GP (Zabdeno) - given as first dose
MVA-BN-Filo (Mvabea) - 2nd dose 8 weeks later
Can be used for infants >1
Only protective against Zaire
