behandeling IBS
- neuromuscular blocking agents: NON-DEPOLARIZING

-> tubocurarine, atracurium, cisatracurium
paralysis, not preceded by contractions
can be counteracted by cholinesterase inhibitors
in combination with atropine
neuromuscular blocking agents - DEPOLARIZING
Agonism of the nicotinic receptor at the
neuromuscular junction with increased activation
-> suxamethonium
paralysis, preceded by contractions
cannot be counteracted (echter kortdurig)
- cholinesterase inhibitoren - DO NOT PASS BBB
neostigmine
pyridostigmine
cf muscarine agonisten (glaucoma, bladder atony)
myasthenia gravis
veel gebruikt bij anesthesie voor counteracting
Myasthenia gravis
antilichamen tegen nicotine receptoren op de musculaire eindplaat => verminderde contractiekracht
Behandeling:
cholinesterase inhibitoren => meer Ach
=> grotere kans dat de nog overgebleven nicotine receptoren bezet zullen zijn
cholinesterase inhibitoren - PASS THE BBB
