Aspects of work that motivate employees
E.g

What is hertzberg’s two factor theory?
Theory argues that the two factors, motivation and hygiene, can cause either employee satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
What happens if hygiene factors are not met?
Workers are left dissatisfied
Benefits of Herzberg’s theory?
-recognises that motivation comes from the individuals’ needs and has
-provides clear solutions for businesses
Disadvantages of the theory?
And why is it often criticised?
-only based on a small sample of people (he interviewed accountants and engineers)
-and it doesn’t consider the fact that people have different hygiene and motivation needs
