A
Displacement of cerebellar tonsils into the foramen magnum.
They compress the brainstem and cause cardiopulmonary arrest

Involves displacement of the cingulate gyrus under the falx cerebri (falx cerebri separates the two hemispheres)
Compresses the anterior cervical artery

Uncus of temporal lobe under the tentorium cerebelli
- compresses cranial nerve III and leads to down and out pupil
- posterior cerebral artery compression leads to infarction of occipital lobe
- Paramedian artery rupture leads to Duret hemorrhage.
