Heredity
A phasing of genetic traits from parent to offspring.
Dominant trait
The trait in the first generation that have different traits are bred.
Recessive trait
A trait that appears in the second generation after disappearing in the first generation.
Genes
One set of instructions for inherited traits.
Alleles
One of the alternative forms of a gene that governs a characteristic.
Phonetype
An organisms appearance.
Genotype
The entire genetic makeup of an organism.
Probability
The likelihood of a possible future event will happen.
Homologous chromosomes
Chromosomes that have the same possible sequence of genes.
Meiosis
A process of cell division which the number of chromosomes decreases to half the original amount.
Sex chromosomes
One of the pair of chromosomes that determine the sex of an individual.
Pedigree
A program that show the occurrence of genetic traits in several genetic of a family.
DNA
A molecule that is present in all living cells and that contains the information that determines the traits of a living thing inherits and needs to live.
Nucleotide
A nuletic-chain.
RNA
Ribonuelic acid.
