Clinical applications: lung yin deficiency syndrome with dry cough without phlegm or coughing blood, sore throat, hoarse voice, kidney yin deficiency for vertigo, tinnitus, soreness and pain in low back, bone steaming, poor appetite, thirst due to qi and yin xu, constipation due to febrile disease fluid impairment
