Describe the rationale of Hepatitis C treatment
A
Suppress the virus to the point where it becomes undetectable and reaches Sustained Virologic Response (SVR) - virus being undetected 6 months after completion of treatment

Peg-interferon and Ribavirin (Guanosine analogue that stop viral RNA synthesis)- effective against ALL genotypes of Hepatitis C virus
