How is hep B spread?
IV drug use
Sexual contact

What are the symptoms of a hep B infection?

Who is at risk for hep B?
IV drug users
Health workers
Sexually promiscuous
How can hep B be diagnosed?
HBsAg (surface antigen present for 1-6 months
HBeAg present 1-3 months after acute infection
What do HBcAg antibodies show?
Past infection
What do HBsAg antibodies show?
Vaccination
