Because he didn’t want to be under the power of the Church, he wants power over them. He also really wanted a male heir.
How did Marriage issues cause his break with rome?
He wanted a divorce with Catherine of Aragon but the Pope wasn’t letting him. If he got a divorce his chances of having a male heir increase.
How did religion cause his break with rome?
He tried using the bible as a reasonfor a divorce by saying it said in the bible that you can’t marry your brother’s widow. He was the one in control of all the religion in Britain after the break with rome so he would be happy about that.
How did money cause the break with rome?
If Henry was to become Protestant and leave the Catholic Church, he could do what he wanted with all the monastries in England including taking all its wealth and treasure.

It was Henry moving away from being Catholic and being under the control of the Church.

Because it was when Henry declared himself has the head of the Church of England meaning he didn’t have to ask the Pope for permission and not be under the control of them anymore.
