Because Henry VII wanted to stay allies with Spain because Spain had a lot of wealth at the time.

In 1509 and he was Catholic.

Because she couldn’t have a male and she was getting to old to have anymore kids.
How did Henry VIII divorce Catherine of Aragon?
Henry made himself head of The Church of England because only the pope could divorce Henry from Catherine; but the pope refused to do so.

Henry had 6 wives. He divorced Catherine of Aragon, executed Anne Boleyn because she was accused of being unfaithful, Jane Seymour died of an infection after giving birth to Edwards VI, he divorced Anne of Cleves because she looked ugly to Henry, Catherine Howard was executed (she was being unfaithful) and Catherine Parr survived because Henry had died in 1547.
