She made the England both a Catholic and Protestant country which helped stop all the arguing, even though she was a Protestant herself.

In 1558.
What were the rules for the religious changes?
Priest could marry Protestants, the bible was both Latin and English, bishops were only allowed to do a protestant service and Catholics who didn’t attend new services wouldn’t be punished, but they did have to pay a fine (this is known as recusants). However Elizabeth did allow Catholics to worship secretly.
Did she marry anybody?
No Elizabeth I did not marry anybody and had no children. So the person inline for the throne was her long distant cousin King James VI of Scotland.

She died in 1603 by blood poising.
