-Rebellion broke out in April, leading to the murder of Northumberland.

-Dynastic rebellion led by Humphrey and Thomas stafford and Viscount Lovell
-Brewing discontent against Tudor house proving allegiance to the Yorkist cause still evident in North and midlands, strongholds of Yorkist sentiment.
-No significant loss for Henry.
What was the Lambert Simnel/Battle of Stoke Field rebellion?

-Simnel promoted as Earl of Warwick
-Gained support of English and Irish nobles such as John de la Pole and the Earl of Kildare, who was instrumental in Henry’s control of Ireland.

What was the Perkin Warbeck rebellion?
-Attempted siege of Exeter with a small peasant army in 1497
-Failure and was put down easily, leading to Warbeck’s arrest and execution in 1499.
-Warbeck enjoyed considerable foreign support from Maximilian I, James IV and Margaret of Burgundy
-Truce of Ayton in 1497 prevented Scottish support of Warbeck, and would later become the Treaty of Perpetual Peace in 1503
