-In 1495, James IV offered Perkin Warbeck allyship and protection
-When J4 lost faith in Warbeck, the Treaty of Ayton was concluded and signed in 1497
-This led to Treaty of Perpetual Peace in 1502
-Margaret, son of Henry, married to James in 1503
Spain
-Most important achievement was Treaty of Medina del Campo in 1489
-Negotiated that Arthur was to be married to Catherine of Aragon
-Tudor Dynasty now recognised as of equal important to European powers overseas
-Equal trading rights set out
France
-In the 1490s, France took hold of Brittany, causing the Breton crisis which was unprecedented.
-In 1492 H7 sent an army of 12000 across the channel, although war was avoided when Charles VIII and Henry signed the Treaty of Étaples in 1492
-C8 paid £5000 in yearly instalments and promised to not support Warbeck or Simnel
Burgundy
-Margaret of Burgundy was the sister of Richard III and provided great threat to Henry.
-She supported Warbeck until 1496, when Intercursus Magnus was signed
