A
pleural fluid protein: serum protein >.5
pleural fluid ldh: serum ldh >.6
Pleural fluid ldh > 2/3 the uln for serum
once one is met then exudative otherwise transudative

physical findings u would see in a patient with hemothorax
A
flat neck veins pallor shock tachycardia hpotension unilateral dullness to percussion absent breath sounds
