Hemolytic Disorder of the Newborn
A
D antigen present as early as 5 wks
Most common: Anti-D, Anti Kell
“Kidd Kells Duffy Dies, Lewis lives”
Liley curve: Measures optical density of AF in cases of isoimmunization 2/2 hemolytic anemia (bili in AF)
Deliver or do IUT if upper zone II or Zone III
Not possible to follow amnios for Parvo, Kell (cause erythroblastic, not hemolytic anemia)

300mcg dose protects against 30mL fetal blood or 15mL of fetal RBCs

A
Term NSVD without rhogam 20%
Rhogam at delivery only 2%
Rhogam at 28wk and PP 0.2% risk

Ddx fetal blood from maternal blood in eval of bloody stools
Add base, fetal cells remain pink, adult cells lyse
