What is heat?
Heat is the transfer of energy from one substance to another.
What creates the seasons? Explain.
As one part of the earth experiences summer, because it is faced towards the sun, the other part that is facing away from the sun will experience winter.
How does a liquid thermometer measure temperature?
The water you want to measure, transfers heat energy to the liquid in the thermometer, which causes the liquid to move up or down, depending on the temperature.
