Thermal energy that flows due to a difference in temperature. Heat flows from hot to cold

A method by which heat flows (Conduction, Convention, Radiation)

Heat transfers within or between solid objects

Heat transfers into or out of fluids
Radiation
Heat transfer due to packets of energy called photon that can travel through many substances, even through empty space
Insulator
A material through which energy (Electrical, thermal or sound) cannot be easily transferred
Conductor
A material through which energy (Electrical, thermal or sound) can be easily transferred
Temperature
The measures of the average speed of all particles
Thermal energy
The total energy of all particles in an object
