Q

A

Pan systolic ( happens the whole time during stenosis)

Q

A

Klick

Left atrium

Mitral valve pressure breaks held by cordin tendineae

Mid systolic click after S1 and before S2

Heard at the apex

Q

Aortic regurgitation

A

Diastolic murmur

S2S1

Left sternal border

Closing problem in aortic valve at the same time as mitral valve filling

So as the left ventricle fills up the right ventricle also fills up due to the aort valve letting in blood due to build up pressure from the inferior veta cava

Decreshindo after S2

Early systolic murmur

Q

Extra hr sounds

A

Systolic click - aortic stenosis, mitral prolapse

Opening snap - mitral stenosis

S3- volume overload, early dyastoli
Cordi tendineae
Rapid filling phase
Kids normal
Adults congestive hr failure

S4- pressure overload
Left Atrium contracts
End of dyastoli
Pathological
