CXR- cardiomegaly, pulmonary oedema
Bloods- FBC, U&Es, glucose/lipids
ECG- for evidence of MI, IHD, arrhythmias

Management of heart failure

A

Lifestyle advice: weight loss, increase exercise, lower salt and alcohol intake

Loop diuretics +/- thiazide diuretics
ACE inhibitors
Beta blockers
