What is protein complementation?
Eating the correct low biological value foods so that your body still gets all 10 essential amino acids found in meats.

- Protein for growth and repair

- Vitamin A for healthy eyes
- Vitamin D for strong teeth and bones
Why do children need small portions?
They are smaller and have less muscle so use less
calories.

Due to blood loss from menstruation

Vitamins and minerals can be destroyed with
cooking, so it is good to eat some raw or use the
cooking water for your gravy, so you get the
vitamins in the gravy instead.
