Safety Definition
Refers to an absence of risk that has a potential to cause harm
Occupational hazards
Hazards which you come across everyday in your job which have potential to cause harm
Environmental hazards
Linked to high noise levels, poor lighting, hot or cold working room temperatures
- there is not upper limit for temperature in working environment
Human hazards
Risk caused by human which could cause harm such as carelessness, lack of training or tiredness
