What are the moral, legal and economic arguments for health and safety?
Firms have a duty of care to ensure the health and safety of employees at work, as well as a legal duty under the Health and Safety at Work - if firms fail to prevent accidents / injury due to inadequate health and safety policies they can face criminal prosecution and fines which can have financial consequences on the organisation.
