What is understanding of Health and Safety 1974?

RIDDOR 1995 (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations)

What incidents reportable under RIDDOR 1995?

A

The ‘responsible person’ is required to notify the following incident to the HSE:

  • All injuries lasting over 7 Days, must be reported within 15days of the incident
  • Occupational diseases
  • Dangerous occurrences (explosions, hazardous substances, structure collapse, collision)
