What does bacteria do?
Bacteria is in your large intestine and they make vitamins. These vitamins are then absorbed into the blood.
What are enzymes?
Enzymes are special proteins that can break down molecules of nutrients into small molecules
What are the types of enzymes?
Carbohydrase, protease and lipase are all types of enzymes.
What does carbohydrase do ?
It breaks down carbohydrase into sugar molecules.
What does protease do?
Protease breaks down protein into amino acids.
What does lipase do?
Lipase breaks down lipids into fatty acids.
