What are the “red flags” of headache?
A
“SNOOP4”
S - Systemic: Fever, wt loss, immunosuppression (HIV, steroids, cancer, pregnancy)
N - Neurological Signs: Meningisumus, encephalopathy, papilledema.
O - Onset: Thunderclap (Peaks < 1 min)
P - Pattern: Positional, pusatile tinnitus, precipitated by cough or valsava, pattern change.

What are the criteria for diagnosis fo migraine without aura?
A
At least 5 headache attacks last 4-72 hours with no better explanation, requiring:
2 of the following:
- Unilateral location
- Pulsatile quality
- Moderate or severe pain intensity
- Aggravation by or causing avoidance of routine physical acini it you (walking/climbing stairs)
Plus 1 of:
- Nausea/vomiting
- Photophobia & photophobia
