Where is the bronchus/esophagus/thyroid anterior Chapman’s point located?
In the 2nd ICS close to the sternum
Where is the nose anterior Chapman’s point located?
The costochondral junction of rib 1
Where is the tonsil anterior Chapman’s point located?
The 1st ICS next to the sternum.
Where is the sinuses anterior Chapman’s point located?
3 1/2” from the sternum on the upper edge of rib 2 in the 1st ICS.
Where is the middle ear/otitis media anterior Chapman’s point located?
On the upper edge of the clavicle lateral where it crosses the 1st rib.
Where is the pharynx anterior Chapman’s point?
The 1st rib 1” medial to where the clavicle crosses.
Where is the larynx anterior Chapman’s point located?
The upper surface of the 2nd rib 2-3” lateral from the sternum.
Where is the posterior bronchus Chapman’s point located?
Midway between the spinous and transverse process of T2.
Where is the posterior nose Chapman’s point?
The lateral aspect of the transverse process of C1.
Where is the posterior tonsil Chapman’s point?
On the posterior surface of the C1 transverse process.
Where is the posterior sinuses Chapman’s point?
Between the spinous and transverse processes of C2.
Where is the posterior middle ear Chapman’s point?
The tip of the C1 transverse process.
Where is the posterior pharynx/larynx Chapman/s point?
Between the spinous and transverse processes of C2.
