Battle’s Sign
A
Discoloration/bruising behind the ears, often associated with a basilar skull
fracture (fracture at base of skull).

A
Inflammation/infection of the meninges, the membranes that cover the brain.

Raccoon Eyes (Periorbital Ecchymosis)
A
Bilateral ecchymosis (bruising) in the periorbital region (around the eyes), suggestive of a basilar skull fracture.

Sinusitis
A
Inflammation/infection of the sinuses, causes sinus pressure.
