Ready or inclined to fight. aggressively uncooperative.
Constitutional
Affecting the whole constitution of the body, not local
Dehydration
Excessive loss of body water (i.e. dry lips or dry mucous membranes are examples).
Excessive loss of body water
A disease which the provider thinks could be the cause of a patient’s
symptoms. Usually ruled-in or ruled-out by testing.
Distress
Mental/Physical suffering or pain
Febrile
Fever/Increased body temperature
Infarct
Localized tissue death as a result of lack of blood supply.
Ischemia
Inadequate blood supply to an organ or part of the body.
Lethargy
Extreme fatigue or drowsiness.
Malaise
General feeling of discomfort or illness
Morbidly Obese
Extremely overweight; BMI over 40
Palpable
Able to be touched or felt; plain to see.
