How do you prime factorise?
A
You find a factor pair of your original number. You then do that to the output. You do this until you just have prime numbers.

How do you find the HCF of a and b?
A
If the prime factors of a is set A and for b B then the HCF is simply the product of the prime factors in A ⋂ B.
