Can enter to inspect work practices
Can serve improvement notice
Can serve prohibition notice
Can take measurements, samples and photographs;
Can require an area or machine to be left undisturbed;
Can seize, render harmless or destroy dangerous items
Can issue unlimited fines and possible prison sentence
