A
rock armour which breaks up waves and dissipates the energy so that it cant undercut the cliff behind.

A
reflects the seas energy back out to sea with a design that wraps the wave onto itself. Curved so very expensive.

wooden/ rock walls that extend into the sea, prevent LSD and protect beaches from moving.
Waves break earlier and energy dissipates before reaching cliff face.

metal cages that contain rocks and are placed at the base of a cliff, cheap but ugly.

sloping walls that cause water to run up it and then straight back down due to its steepness.
