What is the first step of handwashing
Go to a sink, roll up sleeves, tie back hair and remove accesories
What do you do after you locate a sink
Stand far from the sink
What do you do after you are far away from the sink
Turn on the faucet and adjust until the water is warm
What do you do after the water is warm
Wet hands and 2 inches above the wrists
What do you do after wetting your hands
Apply soap and lather over hands, wrists and 2 inches above
What do you do after applying soap and lathering
Keep hands and forearms below elbows
What do you do while you keep your hands and foreams below the elbows
Rub palms together and in between the fingers/thumb
What do you do after you rub your palms together and in between your fingers
Rub fingernails against the other palm
What do you do afetr rubbing your fingernails
Wash hands for at least 20 seconds
What do you do after washing your hands for 20 seconds
Rinse wrists and hands. Hold hands downward so the water drips down your hand
What do you do after rinsing your hands
Dry hands then wrists
What do you do after drying your hands and wrists
Use paper towel to turn off sink
What do you do after turning off the sink with paper towel
Throw away paper towel
