A
Bucal mucosa & tongue
- Painful oral macules that become vesicles surrounded by thin halo of erythema
- become ulcers

Describe the rash
A
Vesicular/papular lesions that become shallow ulcers in 3 days

Describe the prodrome
A
URI, fever
Sore mouth/throat
Fatigue, malaise

Treatment
A
symptomatic
- hydration & ibuprofen
Virus clears in about 10days

What are the complications?
A
Aseptic meningitis
