Leaders in the civil rights movement gave new habits with a new identity and ownership of an America where all mankind are equal.

They arrest of Rosa parks just was the catalyst to bring about change because it set in motion a social patterns that were already there.

A

The habit of friendship. Rosa Parks was deeply respected by the community. This coupled with the political social change started a revolution.

A

Weak ties are friends of friends.

People wont help strangers

People will help friends of friends or week ties.

The reason is it extends our social networks and by being a team player we will get help when we need it.

A

Peer pressure, if you can get the group around them to make them feel obligated, you can get them to do anything.

People will willingly suffer for a friend, however the only way to get someone with ties to suffer for your friend is to use peer pressure and make them feel obligated to do so.
