What Gustilo classes require antibiotics and which ones

A

Class I and II: 1st gen cephalosporin x 24hrs
Class III: first generation cephalosporin (Gram +ve coverage) + aminoglycoside (gram -ve coverage) x 24-72 hrs
+ Pencillin if concern for anaerobic organism (eg clostridia in farm injury)
