Q

Describe how we taste

A

The activation of the taste receptor requires a chemical compound to be dissolved in salavia.
This difuses down the taste pore and comes into contact with the gustory hairs.
Depending on the taste, this has different effects.
These leads to depolaration of the cell and the release of neurotransmitters.
