When does puberty beguine?
Girls in years 8-17 and boys years 10-18.
why does you body have puberty?
To change from the stage of being a child to being an adult and so that we can reproduce and have babies.
Are the first signs of puberty usually internal or external? What does it involve?
puberty is usually internal it involves you producing greater amount of hormones.
What is the name of the hormone involved in puberty for girls and boys?
for girls oestrogen and for boys testosterone.
What is a penis? (boy)
Shafted shaped organ that hangs outside the body, used for urination and sexual reproduction.
What is a urethra?(boy)
A tube that runs from the bladder to the end of the penis. Carries semen (the liquid that contains sperm) and urine.
What are the testicles?(boy)
Two small glads found below the penis. These produce millions of sperm every day after puberty.
What is the scrotum?(boy)
Pouch of skin that contains the testicles. Responsible to keep the testicles at a consistent temperature.
What is the bladder?(boy)
This organ stores urine which is the liquid waste of the body.
What are the ovaries?(girl)
Two tiny organs that lie in ether side of the Fallopian tubes there job is to produce eggs. The ovaries release one egg per month.
What are the Fallopian tubes?(girl)
These two tubes connect the ovaries to the womb.
What is a uterus?(girl)

What is a urethra?(girl)
The tube that urine passes through to exit the body.
What is a vagina?(girls)
The passage leading from the outside body to the womb/uterus.
What changes happen to only boys in puberty?
