Primary homeless are those people sleeping rough in parks, under bridges and in squats.
Define Secondary homeless.
Secondary homeless are those who couch-surf at various friends places and those staying at refuges, hostels or crisis accommodation facilities.
Define tertiary homeless.
Tertiary homeless are people living in single rooms in private boarding houses or in caravans.

- 34% highlighted that their parents were born overseas.
- 23% spoke another language at home.

Migrant people who have moved to live in a new country. Australia has a large percentage of residents that were born in another country.
Define Youth.
The period between childhood and adult age.

One in 5 Australians are between 12 to 24 years old.
How do individuals vary within the group “Youth”?
- At one stage in life everyone of us are a part of this group.
- Youth is our development stage (mental and physical)
- Differing family, friends, location, religion, interests.
