What does a group performance plan do?
assists the facilitator to monitor the group and ensure that all is on track to meet the needs and activity outcomes
How to create a group performance plan?
o All outputs of the group need to be heard
o The deliverables (what’s the group going to do?)
o The desired performance levels of the group
o The actions required to meet the needs and activity outcomes
o The knowledge skills and resources needed to achieve the activity goals
o A timeline for the achievement of the needs and activity outcomes
o How the group’s performance will be measured
Group performance can be measured by
- Participation involvement
- Participation satisfaction
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Any relevant data or statistics such as financial records, sales reports, weight lost, Kg’s of muscle gained and fitness results
What should the facilitator do with the information
all information should be recorded and documented, and the facilitator should keep everyone involved by shearing the information with all group members
